Attendance Policy
The College emphasizes the need for all students to attend classes on a regular and consistent basis in order to develop the skills and attitude necessary to compete in the highly competitive labor market.  Since much of each program is conducted in a hands-on environment, attendance is critical to proper skill building. The specific requirements for attendance are:

1.Student must maintain 75% attendance or above, to be considered  maintaining satisfactory progress.

2. If a student drops below 75% attendance he/she will be put on attendance probation.

3. If a student exceeds three probationary periods he/she will be subject to termination from the program, at the discretion of the School Director.

4. Students in the following programs are subject to different attendance requirements. As stated in program specific orientation packet. Paramedic, Vocational Nursing, EMT and ECT.

5. Students who are dismissed due to attendance may be readmitted only at the discretion of the School Director, and no sooner than the beginning of the next grading period.

6. Students may appeal to the School Director if they feel an error has been made in their attendance calculation.
