The EMS degree-granting program prepares the graduate for entry into a variety of EMS professions. This program prepares the graduate in paramedical studies, telecommunications, ACLS provider, PALS provider, CEVO, and anatomy and physiology. Graduates will develop a strong working knowledge for entry into a EMS profession. This degree granting program prepares graduates for national certification.
Program Objective
At the completion of this degree-granting program, the student shall have a basic working understanding of the human body’s anatomy & physiology, posses a strong working knowledge as it relates to CEVO, develop a strong working knowledge as it relates to EMS systems, develop a strong basic understanding of the pre-hospital care system, and be prepared for higher level postions in the EMS fields.
