This degree granting program trains students for entry level positions or higher in the booming fitness industry. This program has been designed to prepare students for the professions of fitness instructors, exercise testing technicians, aerobic instructors, professional personal fitness counselors, weight training coaches, and/or nutritionist.
Program Objective
This degree-granting program prepares graduates for national certifications. It also prepares the student to have a basic understanding of the human anatomy and physiology, posses an entry level understanding of exercise sciences and various exercise techniques, posses a fundamental understanding as it relates to initial consultations, evaluations, and program designs and many more physical aspects.
