Programs Vocational Nursing
This allied health care program is designed to prepare men and women for entry into occupations that require employees to have training and skills in vocational nursing. Not only have physicians become more reliant in vocational nurses, but their services are also being requested by hospitals. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the institutions campus to receive a tour and to discuss personal educational and occupational plans with school personnel prior to enrolling or signing enrollment agreements. Theory and Laboratory are taught residentially.

Program Objective
The objective of the vocational nursing program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge that will enable them as graduates to qualify for positions as a vocational nurse. Our students will be trained in vocational nursing procedures. This training will allow our students the capability of filling a variety of entry-level position, such as vocational nursing. This program is intended for those students who have a high school diploma or GED. Experience in the field is necessary. Perspective students must have successfully completed a college level anatomy and physiology course with a GPA of 2.0 or better. At the completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate of completion.

Pre- Requisites
Candidates applying to attend the Vocational Nursing
program must meet the following requirements:
  • Possess a certificate of completion from an Allied Health Care program.
  • Current BLS card.
